Climb-Big-Data Infrastructure at Birmingham is back to normal. The cooling failure issue was resolved. All services are available for use. Thank you for your patience and support.

Dear Climb-Big-Data Users,

We want to inform you of an emergency situation that has arisen at our infrastructure in Birmingham. Due to a cooling failure in the datacentre that hosts CLIMB-BIG-DATA, we are taking immediate action to prevent any damage to our systems.

As part of this process, we will be switching off at least part of the infrastructure, including Jupyter Notebooks and GPUs. Some Virtual Machines may or may not stay up, but we will keep you updated as soon as we can.

We understand the importance of the services we provide and are doing everything in our power to ensure minimal disruption to your work. Our team is working diligently to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

We will provide regular updates on the situation and let you know as soon as we have more information. Please stay tuned for further updates from us.
